So I just got my transmission built and now I am looking for injectors. I know everyone will say exergy or S&S , but how does everyone feel about just honing out the injectors I have to 60, 80, or 100 over. Am I better off just buying the brand new ones or save some money and hone mine out?? Curious to see what everyone has to say. Signature has all mods listed.

How many miles on the current injectors? If they are stock from 2012 i would suggest new/reman's.

98,000 even the original injectors.

Here's the hard part, some places will modifiy yours and others won't simply due to them not being new.

In my opinion I would just get some Flux/Exery/S&S injectors and be done with it and KNOW you're starting from the best possible health you can.

Does anyone have an opinion as to what size of an injector, that would best suit my truck?

Goals? What are you wanting to do? HP? Track only? Daily driver? Towing? Max power? Clean power? Any other plans for the engine? Are you going to build it up? Give us more information to work with

Just a quick daily driver that runs clean at around 700-750hp, also pulling a boat trailer every once in awhile. Way later down the road I would like to have the engine built up and more power, but for right now I'd like to add the compound kit I have laying in my garage from wehrli fab. s480/96 1.15 a/r over the 65mm.

Okay, thanks for the input. Another member mentioned something about doing 100% overs because it will be close to a stock duration at 500hp. How true is that? or 100% over kill for what I have? or will have. I know absolutely nothing about injectors so any info would help, knowledge wise.

The lower the uS, the better (to an extent, too low and it wont run right at idle or part throttle). LML pistons aint the strongest so i would put in as much injector as you can afford if you intend to beat on the truck at 700-750hp. if mark is tuning it or a reputable tuner is, they can make 100% overs (even LML's) run clean at what you want.

I run a 45% over w/10mm stroker and am right at 758hp (68R/Danville). I wish i would have gone w/100's and a 12mm instead. I would agree with James and would leave yourself some room to grow personally. Just my 2¢

How do you guys feel about remans from a vendor on here vs brand new injectors. I really dont want to spend 5K for 100% overs when I can get the remans for cheaper.

If it's a vendor on this site, go for it. Not much that can go wrong. If it does then they should take care of you

No not yet, but ill be going with remans from LDS. I am having a hard time biting the bullet and spending 4.5-5k. I wanted to see if I could buy brand new injectors and then send them to exergy to perform the honing process or whatever they do. But they wanted $2200 to hone them and LDS is $1849 equals out to $4049. LDS total price is 3749 I think for 100 overs. Where did you pick the s480 up?

Unless someone on here thinks buying new and sending to exergy would be better lol.
