Lly alternator

Well after 10 years and 228,xxx miles, I think my alternator's days are numbered. My question is: I have the single alternator. Which one do I need? The 105 amp or 145 amp. I have the window sticker and there was no mention of alternator's on it. For some reason I thought it had a 145 on it and the 105's were used in dual alternator optioned trucks. If they are interchangeable I'll get a 145 because it would keep up with the snow plow better. Thanks

I copied and pasted the following from a bookmarked site when mine went out...
Look in your glove box for RPO codes.
K68 105AMP
8X5 Duel 105AMP
KG7 125AMP
KG8 130AMP
KG3 145AMP
KW1 160AMP

You can swap the 145 amp in even if it had a 105 amp on it now, but you may need a longer belt to run it.
