Searched for 4" Lift Shocks, and quickly found, that matches A LOT of signatures.. :D
Looking for non Bilstein options to fit an 01 3500 with 4in lift kit, Rough Country best we can tell.

Looks to be 4in front and 2in blocks in the rear. And has 4 wore plumb out Bilstein shock. Shes also got a shot inner tie rod, Fabtech, and lift pitman arm hollered out. So buying new buck fifty Bilsteins not in the budget this month for the old 350k farm truck.. But besides lenghts, have no good cross reference numbers for these shocks. So number fishing..

Rancho might have a cheaper option. If that's still outside the budget, maybe Rough Country or one of the other budget brand lift kit companies will have something a little less expensive.

That's saves a couple hundred bucks.. Plus they have good cross ref lists.

Last time I paid $150+ for a shock, it had had a coil spring attached.

Wasnt a good one

Ranchos have gone down hill. We quit selling them after all the come backs in a year.

Look into doetsch tech shocks. Better than rancho and wide variety of lengths.

Bilstiens are the best bang for the buck. In my world though, those are bottom grade shocks like a kyb

Not everyone has baller money, James.

Lol im more making the point that for what you get from a bilstein 5100, it is the absolute best bang for the buck. Specially, in our truck world.

You don’t need to cross reference part numbers. Jack the front end up by the frame and make sure the front shocks are out. Measure from the center eye of the lower control arm amount to the bottom of the frame mount and look for extended lengths for front shocks that will work within that measurement. either the same length or slightly longer will be just fine. The rear end you’re gonna need a 12 inch stroke shock. 10 inch might work but you’re gonna have to do measurements to make sure.

I ended up going with the 5100's on RockAuto that Bac's spotted. Wasn't in a huge rush, so standard shipping kept it under $100 each.

Started sorting #'s by length, then got sidetracked.. So just email my buddy the link, said order these, and have em shipped to where the trucks parked. Soon as those are on, should be ready for a rip...
