My 65 Malibu, had a 468 iron headed BBC in it.

I sold the 468 BBC last June with intentions of putting a 4.8L ls with a 76mm turbo this winter, I was way too busy and it's still sitting with no engine or trans, lol.

Back "in the day", this car would scare Corvettes and "muscle cars". Still has the original supercharger and engine, although there's a few tricks added. Been known to surprise a few ricers now and then. Likes to be driven daily and runs best on 100LL avgas....

57 Stude PU 355 Turbo 400 runs 10.9-11.0 everytime down the track. Belongs to my best friend Tim McDaniel and it stay together, more than I can say for a hot rod Diesel most of the time. :D

More info on the nova Rudely. The dial in on the window I see says its pretty serious. Turbos? Nitrous?

I bought it as a roller.
It had a 421 sbc motor and ran mid 5s on motor. I believe this car has high 4 potential........and I intend on proving myself right.
Building a sbc 427, Dart block, Pro1 230 heads, .790 solid roller (Cam Motion), etc., etc. I will share more as I go.

Gettin there, I've installed upgraded rear adjustable LCA, UCA and panhard bar, LC32 crossmember, ft UCA and ft sway bushings. It handles better but it's not really "fast" although it sure is fun :)

Wheel spacers and a rear sway are on their way, as well as an oil pan mod kit, LS7 MAF, and tune will be here soon. Lowering it and ditching the air ride is next on the agenda
Hopefully shortly after that I'll be able to do a cam swap, upgrade the coil packs/plugs/wires and headers and hit low 12's

Someday I hope to have 700awhp with it :D

Here is my dream gasser. http://www.lsxtv.com/features/car-f...att-happels-turbo-4-8l-swapped-ford-fairmont/

Sometimes dreams are within our reach. Lol

That is my plan for the yellow 65 Malibu above. I have a 208,000 mile 4.8, a 224* duration can with .570" lift, valve springs, 80 lb Siemens/deka injectors, I really only need the fuel pump or pumps and a boost reference fuel regulator yet. I'm going to put my Garrett GT45 with billet 76mm wheel and cover on it. I have a 100,000 mile 4l80 I'm going to refresh and I have Jake's shift kit and valve body on the shelf and Jake's black box to make it basically a manual valve body, and a 3600 Stahl triple disc lockup converter... I've had all that for a year, may find time to work on it, someday, lol

That should rip! I have a buddy with a supercharged 5.3 in his pickup, and he keeps telling me he wants to put in a 6.2 . I keep telling him that his 5.3 can make more power than he'd ever need with a few mods. We'll see what he ends up doing.

What it looked like and what it looks like now, going to make it a short box. I am still thinking about a dmax, but probably will turbo it....
