I got a new regulator for my personal truck in Thursday night and got my dremel out and used the round shaving bit and carved away the plastic till I could bend the plug over. Then I coated it in rubber insulation spray and then gorilla glue on top. Now it's as hard as the oem lbz reg is except it's a straight plug with no ninety so it fits on an lb7. The picture is just after I finished carving away plastic before I bent the plug over.

For those of you that didn't know how to do it and what the finished product will resemble, there you go. The last one I got was a dud from the factory.

And I finally got a topside creeper cause I'm getting old and my back can't handle bending over the engine bay for an hour yet alone four for an injector or a head job.

I ditched that whole junction block, cut back the return lines & ran a rubber hose inbetween the 2 hard lines
Ran 3/8 hose to the cp3
No problem with the straight connector of the lbz fpr

A fractional bit more flow up top, lbz cp3's are a good bit cheaper than lb7's(thats why I switched), but imo they are touchier to tune the rail valve current on than an lb7 fca.

I am going to try installing tonight. If any of you have one on hand can you check the resistance between the two leads on the regulator itself. The bad one in the truck is reading 2.9 to 3.1. Then this other me that just came in reads 2.9 and the original lb7 reads the same 2.9 as well. Just a little comparative analysis before I try putting it in.
