Hey there i found a used tcm for a decent price and m wondering of it will work for me. I have a 2003 lb7 and the used one is from a 2001. Will this work? It's far away and need to know before going there sunday. First two pics are mine next two the 01. The numbers all match except the one part number. Thanks

If it's from a duramax, it will work. Only thing you lose is overdrive lockout via the tow/haul button, and 01 has a higher 4-5 shift point in tow/haul mode.

Hey Mike. I got the used tcm from a 2002. Plugged it in and she kicks like a mule. I scanned it and am getting codes p1688 and p1779 which my searching indicates that this may be from a 8.1?. The temp issues I was having seem to be solved tho. But i am hoping I can just have it reflashed to my vin and all should be good. Am I correct. Thanks

Yes, you can just flash your original tune or another Duramax cal and it'll be fine.
