I'm trying to find an issue with no reverse lights and no power to the fuse when in reverse. So I decided to pull the plug on the IMS and clean it. It appears that transmission fluid is leaking from 1 or 2 of the pins. I clean and blow the plug out but oil seeps out after a few seconds, it's not a lot but I'm sure it would be an issue. Could this be the cause of the no reverse lights. It's a company truck but I've only ever driven it from outside to inside the shop so not sure how it shifts out on the highway. Reverse works fine just no lights. Truck is a 2017

If I recall correctly, Reverse light comes off the NRBU switch inside the transmission. Right on the other side of the case where the shift linkage is located. So the pins and internal harness connects to that switch. Leaking harness connector has also been known to cause all sorts of issues with the transmission. Best to replace it as Ron said
