While we still own and drive Wendy, I ordered off the 'other' menu.

I ordered my first import car in decades.

A 2019 Jaguar i-Pace EV400 FE in Photon Red.
It's 394HP and 512ftlb of torque, AWD, with a 90 kWh battery.
It has air suspension and some Land Rover features to enable it for light off-roading, and will cross 20" deep water.
In theory, it will arrive in September.

The Photon Red First Edition is a limited production car, the color and features will be only for 2019 based on a limited run.

Sadly, I could not order it with a Baby Seal interior, and Whale Oil charged shocks. However, I will be able to buy Tofu burgers at 1/2 price.

And in case I get homesick, like a BMW, you can turn on a fake engine noise piped into the 825w stereo.

It's supposed be larger than the F-Pace inside, it has a longer wheelbase and a shorter hood. I fit great in the F-Pace even with a helmet (yeah, I checked).

I love my jag!!! It’s an xe so not electric but is super fun to drive. I almost went with the diesel variant but got a great deal on the 35t. I test drove an f pace and was very impressed. Congrats

This is where it gets weird. It's made in Austria by Magna Steyr. KTM is made in Austria and they are very high quality. The other Jags are still made in England.

Cool Pat. Like you, we really liked our Volt. Our next "car" will be electric again. So awesome around town. I can gas guzzle with my Jeep and Truck, boat and RV if I feel the need.
