It was a very hard decision not to use the 72VGT. The biggest thing is I wasn't as concerned about street manners. This engine will be built more for race then the street. The engine that has been in the truck was a very mild build. The new engine will have a big cam and big heads with a set of HSP manifolds. I have to give a big thanks to Mark and Larry at Danville Performance and David at Bullseye Power. I can't wait to get this thing running and on the dyno.
The exhaust housings on the atmosphere chargers are stainless and look bad ass in person. All three chargers are 75's

What do the stainless housings on the atmospheric turbos get you over cast housings? Why did you go with cast in the valley instead of stainless?

stainless housings have better thermal properties .. Aid in spool up and performance along with better durability.

Those housings should be offered in better a/r's vs traditional turbines along with better properties and even better fitments in tight situations. Looks to be coming together great for you Brett.:thumb:

Thanks Shane,
Yes besides looking bad ass they do save some space and weigh less. I can't wait to get it together and see how it spools and see what kind of boost they make.

We can't wait to see it completed and making passes Brett! We felt very privileged to have the opportunity to work on your truck. You've done an amazing job with it! :thumb:

The turbo combo is a custom Race billet S475/87mm 1.0ar fed by a pair of TCTBMW S475/87mm 1.0 stainless vband. This combo has already made 1763Hp 2450+ftlbs on my engine dyno so it should get Brett his goal of mid 8's as long as trany and traction play nice for him. It is an amazing setup and should be a handful for Brett to drive! Spool up is quick and easy and a baby tune will net 850hp range with a flat curve from 2400rpm until you let off the throttle. His new motor is built to run into the 6K+ rpm range so he needs all the air he can get!:thumb:

Nice work to everyone involved. HSP does incredible work and I'm sure that turbo setup and tune up you've dialed in should be extremely impressive mark.

Sorry guys for not updating this. I have been spending all my extra time trying to get the truck done. I was shooting for TS but that race is today. The next race I'm shooting for is NHRDA Indy June 14th. When I have some time I will upload some pictures otherwise check out the trucks FaceBook page.

I got everything fitted in the truck. Now I'm working on all the small stuff that takes the longest.

This is the race intake Joe and the guys at HSPDiesel made for me. It turned out awesome and should get all the air needed to the two turbos. When on the street the headlight goes back in and air filters get put on. Big thanks to Joe, Dave and the boys at HSPDiesel.com

Off topic, but what are you running for front control arms? I hope you make TS and this new set up kicks.

The front control arms are Scott's Hot Rod tubular. The whole front suspension was made by Scott's.

I don't think I will make TS seeing it's today. Lol but I'm trying my hardest to make Indy June 14th.

Thanks guys for the compliments but they need to go to HSPDiesel. This is the first time I took my truck somewhere and dropped it off to be worked on. It was a long month when the truck was gone, but Joe and his crew took great care of it and the attention to detail is beyond words.
