It only gets worse. Its cute now, enjoy it :thumb: my 3 year old is a daily battle to stay out of my tools and parts.
Oh I can't even imagine.. He's just starting to walk..he already gets into everything, don't even want to see 3 years lol
Enjoy the hell out of it. I was just braggin about my son working on stuff. It turns into an obsession for them too. I can't keep batteries in anything or door knobs on doors in my house. Its a lot of fun but does get frustrating. But its all them learning and its really funny when you step back and look at it.
Hey at least he's getting into the cool stuff! My 5 year old son always moves the step ladder when I'm hanging into a truck & watches me fall to the ground. He acts like he's sorry but I think he likes watching me get hurt! Wouldn't trade it for the world

I know the feeling since my son has been one he's had the itch with vehicles. At two years old he could name every part on the top of a duramax motor. He can spot a turbo or engine part anywhere now at the age of three. I'm really thinking about trying to teach him to tune honestly because he remembers everything once you tell it to him. It makes for a fun time

Me too. My first is on his way and will be here in the next six weeks or so. I'm looking forward to teaching him this skill set and much much more.

Since my son was a year old I couldn't let him in the shop. He kept taking off with my wrenches. Nothing like going for that 1/2" box end wrench when your working under a truck to see he grabbed it and hauled but across the yard with it.
Wait till he starts school and learning how to read. When I was assigned home reading or to bring in a book during elementary school it was always either a tractor service/repair manual or books on the history of cars, trucks, jeeps or tractors. Every year my mom got pulled aside by my new teacher and asked if she needed to borrow any "normal children's books" for me to read. :rofl: And as much as it annoyed my dad to have me underfoot stealing his tools at that age I know he wouldn't have traded it for anything. Somewhere my parents have pictures of me covered in dirt, grease and gear oil laying under a tractor with tools hanging out of my diaper. I hope one day to have a son or daughter that I can't pry out of the shop!

I can't wait for my son to be old enough "help" me out. He don't do much then eat, sleep, and Shit right now.
He is a ladies man though. Him with our neighbors daughter. She loves him...lol

It's nerve wracking anticpating when the MOMENT will come. My money is on the 9th for us, but he isn't due untill the 15th of May...
I sure hope I have my new truck before it happens. I'd hate for him to come home in anything but a Duramax...
Congrats man. Tell me about it. Ours was originally due on the 16th and he's predicted for the 12th so far and could move up again.
