So I got impulsive and bought the charger for 300$ from a friend that pulled it off his dodge to make way for twins. So now I'm debating selling it or wondering if it's worth it to buy the htt kit and put it on ? I've found a few videos of it seems to be a decent charger. Looking for some first hand experience.

A lot of guys will try to convince you that a 300 frame charger will not live as a single, but I have been running mine for over 40k miles now with no issues. They are not as robust as a 400, but on stock fuel you will have a hard time hurting one.

They tow great I think, spool up pretty quick on stock fuel, and provide more than enough air for a stock engine.

I would run it.

Damn good turbo for a little extra power. Most guys push them to hard and that's what takes them out. Only thing I suggest is the 360 bearing for it. Other then that keep it under 50psi and you'll be good. New these turbos are around 550. But with the new 369 out they might come down more.

Thanks for the reply guys I know I was a bit vague in my plans for the truck. It's my daily tow rig. I pull my camper all over the country chasing work it's at about 7500# and was thinking of maybe selling and getting a s472 but am worried about loosing drive ability and towing. Also in my off season I like to beat the truck a bit. Was going to run twins but I really love the idea of nasty single charger trucks. Was thinking maybe the charger and 60% nozzles from what I read.

A 300 frame can be great, or not so great. My brother has a T3 S366, and it spools and drives great, but the T3 housing limits peak power. Still makes for a fun truck, IMO. I have a T4 S366, and it doesn't spool so well compared to stock. Also, I killed my first one in about 20k miles (compressor hit the housing). I am pushing it too hard, though (I see 55 PSI pretty regularly). My truck weighs 8,500 lbs, so even at 55 PSI, it doesn't feel that fast. I'm going to save up for a while and switch to compounds so I can make the power I want and still tow.

Run that biatch. Keep max boost around 40psi. It is a pretty good charger for a daily driver truck.

Where is 3 mile at? Tony tuned my 364 with 40 overs to a 12.1 @ 111 so I have to suggest you call him for tuning. Hell he's in SC so you could probably have him give you a base tune while your in Georgia.

It's in southeast Pennsylvania, near Middletown.
