So this last weekend my fuel cooler I put on the Kodiak sprung a leak. I think the fan rubbed a hole in it. I bypassed the cooler to get home and watched the fuel temps Pretty close. At the rpm and mm3 I seem to cruise at with my trailer puts my MPa 150-160. Im wanting to put it around 130-135ish. So like the title says, what’s more important? More fuel atomization, or cooler fuel? Having such a big tank, the hottest temp I saw was 203 if I remember. Pressures don’t get pulled back till 230 which puts MPa at 110. I know both topics have been beaten to death but together? Looking for opinions. Thanks.

You kinda want both.

But I would lean towards fuel pressure if you had to choose.

If you have a full or mostly full tank, that will do more cooling then the fuel radiator does. The fuel cooler is mostly working when you're low on fuel and there is not much in the tank to absorb and dissipate the heat
