Hey fellas, thinking about l running cupless heads on my motor build, currently building a fully built bottom end, going in my tow pig/fun toy that will be roughly 5-600 hp with the potential down the line to be modified to 7-800 hp but i highly doubt that, building more for reliability. Anyhow anybody have some reviews on the cupless heads? Good, bad, or ugly? I just want to address the weakpoint while its all apart, but for 2k i want to make sure im getting something good first ? want to make sure theu can handle heat and abuse, i tow heavy with a lead foot so i want to make sure the heads can handle the thrashing

Have you considered threaded cups? Much cheaper and basically the same in the end

Had a set on my Suburban for about 9 months now. Heads seem quality, and the machine work / prep on them was all done well. They appear to be very close to stock design, so don't expect any power increase. I got them on sale and they worked out about the same cost as redoing my current heads and adding the screw in cups.

I'd likely buy them again if I end up in a similar situation.
