Finally ran the new motor: 11.18 @ 122mph

My power inverter decided not to work and the laptop went dead so I didn't get to check into that. I need to check if it's being commanded to lock and just not holding or what the deal is. There's no way it wasn't hitting 5th, it would take alot more RPM than that to run 122mph in 4th.

Did you happen to see what your DP is even on the street im getting around 70 psi @ 55 psi boost just wondered how much yours is?

With this .9 housing my drive gets up to 80 or a touch over at full tilt on the street or track. Boost gets up to 62PSI. I have a 1.0 housing to throw on it and test, if I'm not happy with that I'll go up to the 87mm wheel in a .9 housing - while I'm at it I may step up to an 80mm compressor. I want 10s on my current setup, it is still very streetable and I'm leaving now to go pick up another Duramax on a trailer and haul it to the shop.
Pulled a 20ft bumper tow with another ECSB LT Duramax on it over an hour to the shop today. Note that this is at sea level and on fairly flat ground, so many may not consider this "real towing" but this is the terrain we have around here and I'm just sharing info.
First the oil cooler seems to be doing it's job well, even when I purposely kept EGTs up (900-1000*) for extended periods on purpose I never got my oil temps to get up to 220* - measured before the stock or auxiliary cooler.
Next the Flex-a-lite fans also did just fine with this load - keeping ECTs under 210*.
Now for the real stuff, the turbo. EGTs were VERY managable throughout the trip. Even when I purposely lugged it up an incline at 1700 RPM by the time the EGTs climbed to 1000* boost came up and cooled it right back off, keeping it under 1150* without me slowing down, lifting, or downshifting. Taking off from a stop I could easily take off faster than the rest of traffic without pushing EGTs past 850*. On flat ground with cruise set at 65mph (1,800 RPM in OD) the EGTs stayed around 600-650. Overall I am very pleased with the way it towed - I did some part throttle trans tuning when I first got the new motor running (with the truck empty) to keep it on the turbo for smooth, steady acceleration. I was expecting to have to do alot more trans tuning to get it to tow well with a 3.0" charger but was pleasantly surprised that it really doesn't need the RPM I thought it would to stay on the charger.

Needs some more tuning once I get the new intercooler in, and I'm somewhat hoping that the stock intercooler was leaking back when I made this pass - I know it was leaking horribly when I finally leak checked it.
