Well wasn't paying attention and finished current aging work boot.. the dock plate grab my boot.. no injuries but has to wait for someone to lift the plate to free my foot.
I pull a curtain/Conestoga style trailer and has a roll up rear curtain, if I flip it over the top with a hand crank it leaves ropes low enough to be grabbed by the dock plate.. and I was inside securing the ropes..
Went back to the Aug '24 thread for the boot suggestions.. seams the suggestion are being pulled via local vendors, not sure I want to play mail tag with Amazon..

Seems affordable, haven't bought a boot that cheap in a long time. I used to pick up Wolverines at Rural King when I was fresh outta school living in poverty lol. They weren't bad boots, but IMO took forever to break in and not kill the side of my heels.

Ariat does free returns online if you have an account. Although the local boot store will order whichever model you want and is about $20 less than MSRP online

Found out wolverine owns Merrell, found a old new stock Merrell that I like that already being replaced ??‍♂️?
seams there still some stock floating around online snag a couple pairs up here in the next week or two

I'm roughly 70' long, did get an attaboy honk for getting backed in with minimal obstruction to traffic...
Leaving say a guy drop the front axle of his Grand Cherokee in a well marked 3' wide trench on a construction site, driver was walking around like DAFUQ??‍♂️....??‍♂️?

Painsville is about as far up I90 we run, we'll hit Warren, Hubbard, Columbiana as well.
Add to the excitement.. just south of Lima, had a 4dr Nissan merge on to 75 then kept merging left, straight into.. err onto the wire rope net. then rode it like a skateboard for about 150yds, miss my nose by less that 30' as his rear bumper disappeared below my hoodline. Furthest north north is Marine City MI
