If your fuel filter housing had this in it when changing filter, but regulator looks clean as a whistle...... This is a 2014 6.7 powerstroke BTW

Does the ford have a lift pump? Maybe something from the tank or lift pump

Inside the HPFP

So, i have an extra HPFP/CP4 with an unknown number of miles on it. i thought with all of the questions and concerns about this pump, i would show you all what makes this thing tick and disassembled it and photographed it. if any administrators want to integrate or move it into any of the other...

A 6.7 has a factory equipped electric lift pump. That's where these metal flakes were located, in the bottom of the housing.
