And erin and i, 2 weeks before we started dating. She was clearly as goofy as i was, must have been why we are still together lol. She would NOT get on the dirt bike with me and put around the cinders that day

Nope, 37x13.50r17. That OG pic was back when i had a full 8” lift on it and 37x12.50r17s. Over the years i wound up lowering the truck to 5.5” of lift and finally did those 13.50 toyos for the first time in like 2018 or 2017

I did notch the rocker panel so the 37’s clear at full bump and full lock. I think i left enough room for 39’s but i dont remember

Back door window switch trim disintegrated on me not long ago. Friend at work has a 3d printer so he made me a few new bezels. The petg i got was too light but a can of SEM 15883 took care of that. Looks like factory.

Top pic is without paint, bottom is painted and installed

He just downloaded the file off a site for free (not sure what one). He said it took a few trys to figure out the best direction to print and next go round would probably try pla but was worried our summer heat would warp it. These are decently durable but you can break them if your too rough with them

I have a buddy with a 3D printer and we've done some cool shit! For my truck, I have a Gauge holder that replaces the driver side HVAC vent, and holds my lift pump gauge. I also worked on a fuel additive holder for in the bed, that has my other buddy's business logo on it. Now that friend makes a bunch and sells them to my other friend, who sells them along with the additive to his customers :) It's like a circle... cause it has no corner' like' square :) (Chuck and Larry) LOL.

ABS is probably the way to go here

Try to keep myself from going full retard on ordering things for the limo.

Ordered OEM:
Hood latch
Hood latch pull cable
Upper and lower shifter cable

Napa:
Rear output shaft seal

Apparently the output seal i installed back in april does not want to seal. Try another one. Bushing is good in the tcase but im going to see if there is any taper or out-of-round in the yoke.

The other parts are just showing age. Cant get the truck down into first with the shifter. It just wont quite pop the detent in the trans over to it. Hood latch is rough feelin and cable im doing just caused we ordered one for an 06 that didnt need it. I might as well just put it in mine.

The Pioneer quit working on me yesterday during a jam sesh on the way home. Just does an infinite boot load. Guess its commong for the internal sd card to die and cause this. Currently waiting for the screen img to download so i can format the sd card and put it in the radio and see if it works.

Also decided to fix the 4wd switch that wasnt working. 25 year old plastic clips broke and pushed the back out. Little glue, all fixed

Those SD cards don't have as many read/writes as other forms of memory. When used like that they build up bad memory calls and will die. Best to replace when they do. Really it's a poor choice. But cheap, so it gets used. Cards in continuous use should use single level cell for the longest life. But once again, cost....

Trucks got a load of parts ive been buying slowly. This weekend, going to install some

* true factory front inner fender liners
* window regulator for driver side rear window
* Randy Ellis light bar rack for the stock front bumper
* cognito upper ball joints for fabtech arms. Not my first choice but needed to meet a min $ on Meyer so got them
* seat leathers and foam but i think im going to hold on those but not sure. Im hoping Dixxon drops the chevy flannel here in the states and i can have those inlayed into the new covers

Ill also crank down the banks big head cause p/r for the compounds is way too light on the valley turbo so going to up that.

And why i want to do all this weekend instead of dirt work around the house

5ce63aa73013285517886af5377ca564.jpg

Ive been searching for 8-9” HID name brand lights for about 6-8 months. These fuckers are getting harder and harder to find. These will go on the randy ellis light bar. Keep the early 2000’s era theme going on the old girl. Pretty stoked on these!

I still need to figure out what i want to do with the ron davis drop in radiator. Its got a leak and i just dont need this radiator anymore. May just shelve as a “James’ hare brained idea” reminder lol. Means i gotta change the belt, an idler, thermostat housing, upper rad hose, and rad.

Also need to fix the oil leak from the water pump. May do that at the same time as the rad.

Or just sell the limo To me

Lol Anthony has dibs but it aint going anywhere. My kids will have to sell it when im long gone

You wore the seats out again?

Driver seat aint bad, little cracking in the bottom cover but passenger seat edge gave up the ghost. Passenger is all original. So figured I’d just get new covers for both front seats. Funny enough, driver side is almost 10 years old at this point (replaced in 2017)

Are you still going to have a gap between where the fender liner clips in to the outer fender?

That will still need to be trimmed but the passenger side is a aftermarket thin pos that looks like shit. Driverside i never liked how i trimmed 15+ years ago when i did the fiberglass fenders. So now ill have factory stuff i can make the way i want. Ill have to massage/mould the pass liner around the down pipe. I may have Levi make me a blanket for the down pipe too. I should just send all mine back for a refresh anyhow.
