Is that with this new moddified 4094 based turbo that your still testing?

Yes it is!

Muff-Trying to figure out how to fix the turbo tuning issues for the LMM/LML trucks since it appears it won't happen with software. I decided to see if I could do it mechanically with the turbo itself since I figured out why the computer wigs out and throws the reduced power light bs. So far so good!:thumb:

Can you do the same modifications to a 72mm if it's a 4094 base?

That's the hope and plan. With out testing I don't know how that's going to react, but we will see very soon. I plan to swap my 68mm wheel and cover for a 72mm to see what happens on stock fueling. I got Kyle Harbin installing these parts in his 72mm to see if it is going to be a good thing or not.:thumb:

What converter would you recommend guys run for this moddified 4094/or the 3794? Also earlier someone asked about spool up on the 3794...how much difference is there between the 65 and the 68 wheel on that one? Seriously debating going back to vvt turbo

I personally like tight convertors like the 1056 so your not wasting energy and putting the power on the ground. On the 3794 it will spool alittle faster with the BMW 65mm wheel and is a better choice for stock fueling and stock motors for best all around performance. The 68mm version is capable of more topend power and flow specially in a twin setup on a built motor.

Have you got anybody throwing more fuel at this modded 4094 to see what it's max potential as a single is?

Is this due to the fact that they spool/light so quickly? I ask because I've currently got a 1058 and don't want to create another issue for myself

Yes, because it makes so much more hp at a lower rpm(tons of torque because of it) and that's what gets the job done. It's all about where your combo makes its power and how you want to use it.

Did the lag test with my LML finally. Best out of 3 on each

0-20psi from idle is 1.98sec
1500rpm 5th gear cruise +20psi 2.575sec

From an idle, even with traction control off its like it hesitates a sec before actually fueling and making power. Lights fast, just takes a sec to respond it seams.

Max effort tune (daily driven)

How's this rank to other LML's?

Here is a link to the excel file from the current results. Feel free to update your results or post them and I will update them to the file.

Once we get a few more logs I can throw them onto a graph and it might help view the variations a little better.

boost sweep is slower than stock charger. though truck is more responsive at part throttle applications with the 4088 vs stock VVT
