Brake lines

Couple of questions.
What size are the hard brake lines 1/4" ?
What size are the brake line fitting ends?
Are the ends of the lines done with a double flare.
Going to do this at home in the driveway and just want to make sure I have all the correct pieces first.

Was thinking of going Nickel copper lines that is why I need the fitting size.

I only want to do this job once I am going to use Nicop. I'm in NY where they salt and sand the roads. My brake line look like they are ready to turn to dust. Not using GM stuff again. Any idea on what size the fitting for the brake lines are? Would like to have all the parts on hand before I start.

I've put a couple sets of prebent lines on from inlinetube.com they work good and they come in stainless...
