LB7: Blew turbo

The LDS one, also the duramax tuner ones use a stock compressor cover, the LDS one has a bigger higher flowing cover to keep the correct map groove in the housing. Lots of others modify the stock cover with a insert, weld, ect and the map groove is not as good.

Have you used either the lds or dt

I cant speak for lds but where the dt ihi orginated the first 64mm was really a performer. I liked it so much that I planned on one for my lb7 then the g2 67mm came out and being that charger will support 800hp sold me I never plan to make anything over 750 so it suits me well and has a little growing room if needed:thumb:

I'm at 6k ft with a 475 over it and 100 overs so the lag will not be comparable to a single setup. It doesn't spool quite as fast as stock but the 475 is likely holing it back hurting the spool a little.

I think I’ll go with that Lds 68 it’s a hire to fit drop in 360 thrust l2a cooled and will support up to 750 whp and that’s just about where I want to sit I’ll may be having to re tune to justify the bigger turbo but we shall see
