I was leaving town the other day when my truck sudden lost power.
I was trying to get up to 65 mph and had it floored and would only go 40.
After about a solid minute the truck suddenly died.

I checked the primer and it had lost prime, reprimed it and it started right up.
Drive it about 50 ft and it died and lost prime again.
Changed fuel filter and replaced all seals in filter assembly and it's still doing the same thing.
truck threw a P0094 code which is Sys leak detected.

I have an old flashpaq tuner that is pretty basic and can not read fuel pressure

It's as if when i prime it, it will start up but not continue to pump more fuel in order to keep it runnning.

Any input would be appreciated

Also,
Truck only has 178k miles. Got new injectors roughly 20k miles ago

Could be cracked rubber lines from filter head to pump. Mine were pretty rotten

I removed one of the lines last night and it was pretty bad but it didnt seem to be leaking.
Im about to head to my shop and take another shot at getting it figured out.
I'll be sure to look for fuel in valley of the motor

It's just odd to me that it would suddenly do this out of the blue

If the rubber lines are cracked they may not leak they might just suck air. I'm not sure i replaced my cp3 and all the rubber lines at

It's possible the pump is failing. When mine went the pump blew apart inside and and pushed out the plugs. fuel was running down the valley down the bellhousing. Maybe one of these plugs got pushed out by a damaged pump. We're you on it hard when it lost power? If so i bet that's what happened

That's how it works. They don't hold pressure.
