correction to prev. post by Malibu: the 4th and largest turbine housing is a 1.19 A/R. (according to Garrett site)
This shows an increase in flow to 37 lb/mn (from 35).........roughly a 6% increase in flow.............not bad for a small swap.
I'm thinkin' this will help without hurting spool-up too bad???

should decrease the spool bu a 100-200rpms.. crous you could have tony redo your tune to bring fuel in later as well

Ed and Travis dont worry about towing anybody home thats why i am here:rofl::hug: also Ed if you move up to the GT42 let me know what you would want for your GT40.

And if you do decide to put the bigger housing on the 40 and want to sell the 1.06 housing let ME know, I've been thinking about trying one of those myself.:D

Oh... Shift points make a huge difference!

I can run my 68mm VNT with 0% vane position with a 3800 rpm WOT shift schedule... Pretty fun testing actually. Keep dialing in more vane angle with the TB, and watch the drive pressure go up.

I'm running the 1.06, I dont care much for towing 11k with it, long grades @7% and I have to drop to 4th and spin it to 3000 rpms to get the egts in the 900's if not there in the 1500 area and it will no make over 20lbs of boost on grades and start wosh woshing and drop to 4th and you get 40lbs and egts drop fast, I'm thinking its time for twins for better egts now sinc emy motor went south.
