That in a Suburban 2500 would've been awesome. I was disappointed when GM killed it. Glad one survived the purge. Same with at least one EV1, despite GM's best efforts.

I believe the EV1 is at R.E. Olds museum here in Lansing.
The California Automobile Museum here in Sacramento has one. Was surprised to see it as I thought GM had crushed all of them except one.

There is another EV1 that slipped through the cracks and is being restored on YouTube. I think its number 212.

Questionable Garage is partially documenting it.

Here is one of the video were they were invited to GM and the offered parts from 1 of the parts cars.

At one time, I believe 2 of those Duramax engines above were for sale on Ebay. They were at a Yard that GM scraps vehicles at and the engines were set aside. I thought it would be cool to get one and use in a project. My only concern was so little was known about them that I wasn't sure if they were any good or if I would be able to make them run.
