Triple that to machine them up here. And I'm pretty sure it's a different bearing from what I remember 3 years ago. Maybe not today.

I just did 2 sets, even drove to Callies and measured the journals before cranks were released..

See attached pics. My guy trimmed the edges down and clearance is spot on where we estimated. $20 a rod, plus shipping he will hook ya up.

Can't go any more than tang will allow using stock bearings. See last pic.

There are billet cranks that require machine work to the bearing.

So still triple it then.
Plus 3g more than a stock lml. Which for a dd is more than good enough imo.

Correct, the Bryant crank is twice the difference of the Callie's vs. the stock so the bearings get narrowed also. I will be building a new motor with this crank for my truck for this season because I don't want to take the chance with mine. I'm planning to tickle the 1,600hp range this season with it and can't afford to have another broken crank. I'll keep everyone posted on it.

What is the retail cost of the Bryant? If you don't mind me asking

Bryant crank is what I'm going with too. Little more than 5k after the machining of the rods and bearings.

$5k externally balanced. We have two engines going together currently, running the Bryant crank with narrow rods.

Correct, the Callies is $4900. internally balanced so it is definitely cheaper than the Bryant but I want the extra material in the crank for more strength. The Bryant internally balanced is just under $7grand so it's a bit more but I think it is worth it when you talking about big power and reliability. Time will tell as it always does.:thumb:

I guess I will be the cheap @$$ that risks it all with a new LML crank. Lol. All I need is one solid pass to beat you and I will be happy.
