6inch or 7inch single stack....

Ordering a 6inch singe stack or a 7inch singe stack im leading tords a 7inch but im not shore plase help. And should i run 4inch turbo back or 5 inch turbo back? And 6inch stack tip or 7inch stack tip? I im gunna pull with the truck and i was wondering wich option will look better sound better and be the loudest set up. Please help guys thanks. No cat no muffler btw.

I like the way this sounds and looks alot. I like that kinda high pitch rip that pulling trucks have with the single stack.

It would be hard to do a 5" turbo back unless you have twins.But I vote go big or go home

I have a 7" and I love the look of it but I don't like how the smoke doesn't shoot up as high as a 6". 4" exhaust is all you really need.

Witch set up would get me that high pitch rip sound like most of the semi mod duramax pulling trucks with a single stack.

if i where you i would run the 4'' to 6'' your going to get that high pitch sound with about any exhaust you put on it....4'' to 6'' with no lift....or 4'' to 7'' with lift

if you want it to be as loud as possible 4 inch pipe into 6-7 inch stack, my friend own a exhaust shop we have tired everything :thumb:

And I doubt your STOCK CHARGER is going to sound like that truck in the video you posted since it sounds like an aftermarket charger.

4" to 6" stack will prolly be loudest. 4" to 7" will prolly look the best.

The first vid you posted is running a full 4" exhaust into a 6" stack with no muffler. The engine is also running a S400 turbo and a aftermarket cam that is known for it's raspy sound.
The 2nd vid is a stock cam motor running the same exhaust as above, and a A5K turbo.

Okay thanks guys and dmaxlover. So are you running an after markit 3inch turbo down pipe also with that set up? And then 4inch from there all the way back in to your 6inch stack? Thanks for all the help guys.

I'd say he was running a 4" downpipe off the AFTERMARKET turbos. Nothing is the same is it will be for your STOCK turbo. :thumb:

HOWEVER, yours can still sound good. :cool2:
