Have a 2016 2500HD that was in shop for fuel system repair. Got it back from dealer 5 months later and now A/C won't blow cold. How much Freon do I use to recharge.

The dealer kept it for 5 months? I'd take it back.

System capacity should be under the hood. But you have so much more work than filling the system to figure out what's actually wrong.

Have you checked your pressures?

It's impossible for anyone here to possibly be able to tell you how much you need if that's the case.

Yep, just have them fix it.

Proper way to do it is use a ac vacuum pump and pull all the old out and put vacuum on the system so it'll pull the freon in correctly and then you also know you're putting the right amount in.

On older systems it wasn't a big deal to jump the pressure switch and stuff some freon in but these new systems are a lot more finicky

I have a robinair machine. I worked in a body shop but our Mitchell program doesn't tell us the capacity. And after I had words with the dealership owner for not only taking so long but replacing fuel system twice bc they don't have a certified diesel mechanic and did not flush everything. I just need capacity for 2016 2500HD crew cab Ltd.
