Looks awesome, I cant wait to see some vids of this car in action but dont rush, you've spent too much time and money to get in a hurry now.

I found myself rushing through the prep work to get it sprayed and had to check myself to make sure I didn't screw anything up.

:dancenana:

That's freakin awesome!

I feel like all of us are apart of your build. Excellent, magnificent work you do. Can't wait for the next group of photos. As a prior 69 RS 4speed owner.......I fricking love this build.

I hate you

In a jealous I wish i was, or could be like you kinda way:hug:

:happy2:

Incredible work man, looks awesome, your getting soo close i bet it almost hurts:baby:

:woott:

:thankyou: I appreciate the kind words and compliments guys. It helps to keep me going. Been really tired the last couple days from working so much, but I will continue to tinker on it and finish it sooner than later

I saw a fuel switch like that on a mustang once. That is awesome attention to detail. Keep up the good work.

Get it on

My converter and reverse manual valve body with transbrake came from Sun Coast. Painted the tranny red to match the car also. Hard to believe a tranny goes from this...

To this...

And the 518 mechanical speedometer gear so my original speedometer will work.

Big thanks to Don and Russel for getting the tranny ironed out for me

Got the tranny bolted to the Duramax and stuffed it between the frame rails on Saturday.

I painted the Mustang in the background last week. That's a pretty wicked car as well. Got lots of cool stuff at the shop right now.

It's finally time to start reassembly and start hooking things up. I will be mounting the front sheet metal this week and taking measurements for fuel line, brake lines, intake and intercooler plumbing and radiator hoses.

I will keep you guys posted. It might be running in a couple weeks.

Got on any specs on the Mustang?

Full fiberglass body, the only one like it from what I was told. One of our clients bought it no too long ago. Supposedly it was the prototype for a kit car that was never copied. Full square tube chassis, IRS, nascar brakes in the front, wilwoods in the rear, big block 427, tremec 5 speed with a dual disc clutch. Mostly secondhand information, but is definitely 700-800hp, and has gone 187 mph.

And our client is registering it so he can drive it on the street.

Kinda cheesy video I found of it on you tube before our client bought it. It says it's a 4 speed, but I assure you it is not.
