Anyone ever see or use one of these in person? They look cool and I think they'd be alot nicer of an upgrade vs anything else other than stock.

I've seen a few trucks come in with one like the first link that integrates the HVAC controls with the radio, and they seem cheap and glitchy to me. The one in the second link would be more what I would like of the two, but I would be worried about reliability and quality. Have you considered a floating screen radio that puts a larger than stock size screen that sticks out from the dash. I installed a Sony floating screen radio in my 94 Roadmaster, and I really like it. I think it is something like a 10" screen in a single DIN size chassis (the factory radio for the car was DIN and a half). They have a lot of adjustment to move the screen up and down, in and out, and adjust the angle as well. There are several different brands out there.
