I'll post the slip.. Got a funny one from this past weekend. We were test/tuning and doing some stuff through the 1/8.. We lost a fuel line about 100ft before the 1/8 and threw the chutes and coasted through the 1/4 with a [email protected]... Let me know if this will count for the list? lol

If that's what the slip says for 1/4mi time then it 100% would count, I can't find a reason it wouldn't. That would put you in 3-4th on the list without even trying.........

Thanks man.. having issues uploading here so I sent the videos to Mr. Ken and the slip!

I'm honestly not sure if this motor/setup would make it to the 1/4 at full tilt as we have it set up for the 1/8... but I really want to be on top of that list as it has been a goal of mine since the list was started!

I know Wade will itch to go as fast as possible and run it out the back in a hurry... I guess I need to grow some nuts and just do it! Going to look at the schedule and see if we can have another motor ready for whatever the next race we make is in case we hurt this one trying! haha... If it was set up for the 1/4 it would be no problem.. but We need to get some heat under control and flip around some gearing if we go for it I'm afraid. Hopefully we will be testing again within the next 2 weeks and may just give it a go! We have soooo many passes on this motor between the dragster and this car. Some hard test passes. lol!!!

Video plz. :drool::pant:

We will be uploading it to youtube.. but its kinda depressing as you can hear when the car lost rail before the 1/8 and made dumb noises. 1/8 was 4.34@163, crappy 1.03 60ft.. Oh well.. Hopefully be testing again in a couple of weeks. I'll start a thread on the car next week and not jack this one up :)

Tom (The Bac) is in charge of the list now. He will update it soon. Not much had been going on lately with list changes and racing. Nice to see a number even if it’s odd:thumb:

Kory,

Is this a new car, or is it already on the list somewhere?

The pic of the slip might be too large. The forum software no longer resizes pics automatically. Its been an issue for a while now.

But if you're on Tapatalk, its much easier to upload the pic that way.

I wish I could get a crappy 1.03 60' time!

Haha man I would of DIED for these 60s back in the day... but with this Chassis that is actually embarrassing. If we arent in the .9x range for a 60ft with a Bickel Chassis... that means we are still learning the Chassis! We have been cutting average close to that, however. The diesel is just so much different in a chassis like this and it is a learning experience for our WHOLE team for sure!

it will just take time. hit to the tires is different, weight transfer, link setup, etc. its not totally off the wall from a spark plug engine but they for sure take some work and changes :D

1.03 is closing in pretty well to where your wanting :D

I am hoping to be added to the list next year, big goal of mine as well!

Kory,

You should still coast the truck into the 1/4 mile finish line and get into 1st on the list just for bragging rights

Ok, I know some of you have seen this already(Thanks James for starting a thread of it's own, glad you thought it was important enough and really appreciate you guys!!!) but I had an amazing Saturday night that was technically 4 years in the making! The truck I bought from Mike Grave that is current #14 on this list is my now ProMod "Black Lightning" made history. My first 1/4mile pass in it was an [email protected] making it the first 8sec Allison ever and we are just getting started with it! The goal is to run a 7sec pass with it and it is definitely a reachable goal considering what the truck is doing right now. Gotta give a huge shout out to Evan@Elevated Ingenuity on the trany that now has 12 passes on it without being touched! As you heard in the video I am having an issue with the converter itself blowing through the lockup clutch so I will get that taken care of but the trany has been flawless! Thanks to Rick D'Lance and crew at ProFab for the killer one off header setup to fit my combo that is working great, so glad to get rid of the heavy ass stock manifolds on it! This is an Oval cast piston motor from my street truck so it is a full wet block with factory clam shells with a custom 4" bridge I built for it. Single Exergy14mmcp3 and 300%inj with a single Stainless Diesel S485/96 turbo and a small spool jet! Thanks guys for the support and everyone else that has had a hand in it and thanks for the support from you guys here!

Details on the truck: Black Lightning [email protected] (6-6-20) LLY Allison 2wd 3445lbs tuned by me

Mark, congrats again! Hell of an accomplishment!

Ive always wondered this, cant remember if we ever talked about it, and this situation made me think about it.
If a truck is sold and the new owner continues to race it, and takes it even faster than the old owner, do we list it twice or continue its current listing under the new name??
