They are star shaped. But the after market ones I had before were round. Both worked fine and no issues. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

    Duramax 4WD Issue

Have you checked the ground wires? Do you hear the encoder motor trying to switch when you go from 2wd to 4H? Ground wires are under the drivers door on the frame. Make sure they have good contact. Take them off and clean them to make sure. You can also check voltage at the actuator connector on...

    More tire pressure info please

I use a website called tire size.com to see what tire pressures to run. I'm on 35x12.5r17 and run 34 front 30 rear. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

TrakMotive XTENDED Travel CV Axles GM-8026XTT 2500HD

I didn't read the whole thread but I am running them. Works good and so far no issues. Recently I checked RockAuto and seen that the part numbers that I previously bought and the part numbers that are current are no longer the same Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

    Weird elec stuff. Door/radio related

It might be your door lock actuators. I believe they are tied into the interior lights and radio. On my truck they act up also. When I have issues I usually mess with the door latch and you can see the radio or lights turn on or off. Nevermind. I saw that your replaced them already.... Sent...

    More time online

I was driving down the 91 about a 2 weeks ago and saw the Raymond exit...... Made me think of Mike and the visits to his shop. I'm glad that we still have a reputable shop local to us even though I not really local anymore since I moved. But still close enough to make the drive if needed. If I...

    Best PreBuilt Transmission Brands

I'm not if Inglewood has been recommended. That's who I would go with if I had to rebuild my Inglewood transmission again. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Transgo jr and line pressure spring kit

I would highly suggest calling Mike L. and setting up an appointment with him to have the trans worked on at his shop. He is only about 2 hrs from San Diego. You won't regret it. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Info: Powerstop, EBC, or stock brakes?

I was able to install the Powerstop Z36 brake kit last Friday. After driving around for the last couple days I like them. They are better than the stock brakes I had on for the last 218k miles. Takes less break pedal pressure to stop the truck than before. Just overall better. I haven't towed...

Need PN for 2006 steering shaft bearing (the GOOD one)

The Dorman one was horrible. Worst than my old one I took out. The GM I got was good and tight.

Need PN for 2006 steering shaft bearing (the GOOD one)

Don't get the Dorman one. It sucks and is looser than a 10 year old OEM one. I ended up ordering one from gm parts now with a discount. Works great and no noise. 88963617

    Mike L Transmission

It's been about a year since I got my cooler from Mike. This is one great trans cooler. In 100f+ temps I used to see 220-225 trans temps. Now I average around 200f. In summer the area I live in averages 100f +-10f. This is one of the best investments I have made for my truck.

    Brake Flush

Like Russ, I run speed bleeders and they work great. Been running them for the last 8 years.

    Mike L Transmission

Mike's coolers are great. It definitely was a good investment. I had one installed last year and transmission temps average under 200f now. A good 20f/30f lower than before depending on outside temps and how much the transmission is working/shifting. I rarely see over 200f - 220f now. I'm also...

    Holy harmonic balancer Batman!

As long as you followed the torquing sequence of 74ft. Lbs and then 105 degrees you will be fine. Next time get a new bolt. Your not supposed to reuse bolts that are torque to yield.
