    I saw that they also do display repair...this is what I will probably be doing. The reason I wanted to switch to the banks is because of the bigger color display. I am not sure if they still sell gauges for the <06 Silverado, at least they do not list them.

    You are probably right... I do have an LBZ as a spare still not worth going through that trouble. Other reason for me to consider the banks gauges is because my Aeroforce Interceptors are aging and one display has lost its contrast.

    Finally changed the pressure switch manifold but tranny is not acting any different. Will loose gear (first or reverse) shortly after driving a few yards. Also re-engages gear rather harsh sometimes... will only do this when cold, once warmed up shifting is fine. The ATF was a little colored...

    Adding the controls is not that difficult, all you need is the clockspring harness and a steering wheel. Did that on my truck a long time ago, but never found a place to make it work...so no radio or display controls for me just those fancy controls :D

    Once I read that the new 2011 trucks feature upgraded brakes with 14" rotors I asked myself whether it would be possible to upgrade the older trucks 01+ to these new brakes and what it would take. Sure would be nice if I was able to keep my drop spindles. Has anyone tried this?

    I have the same setup, except that I run 3" drop shackles with the overload and #2 leaf removed. My plan is to use the air support shocks out of an Escalade/Tahoe/Denali...to get the rear end back to where it needs to be w/o bottoming out.

    For the Autobahn I would need the 6th gear and 3:42 diffs first before the need to go to twins. I hit the 200 kph so easily, which is redline for me...3600rpms. Would also need V or Z rated tires and some BRAKES to handle these speeds.:D
