    2007 NNBS AC Issue

Also the fan spins by hand with the same resistance when the truck is at operating temp and cold.

    2007 NNBS AC Issue

Both last summer and so far this year when weather is 80*+ my ac is not cold at all. When the truck was in the shop for other issues they looked at AC. Garage and said it was fine, pressures were good. Put dye in it and couldn’t find a leak. Truck did overheat twice last year pulling our travel...

    2008 Yukon 2500 Wet Floor

I’ve pulled the carpet and underpayment back to the floor pan. The horizontal pads are wet and the inclined portion of the floor padding is wet. That’s where I’m at a loss. I can’t tell if the water is coming down from the firewall/heater core or if it’s wicking up from the bottom flat area.

    2008 Yukon 2500 Wet Floor

Could I also pull the door seal and exterior windshield to pillar trim and get any idea if the windshield sealant has broken down?

    2008 Yukon 2500 Wet Floor

No sunroof. I checked the door harness seal. Could I just pin a hose down at the top corner of the windshield and see if water is coming in? With the carpet padding rolling up the floorboard toward the heater it’s hard to tell if the water is coming down the firewall/top of floor pan OR if...

    2008 Yukon 2500 Wet Floor

Hey all, I have a 3/4 ton Yukon that’s the family truckster. It has a consistently wet front passsenger floorboard. It does not smell like antifreeze. The coolant level has remained the same. I carefully snaked the A/C drain line and feel positive air pressure from the tube when system is on...

    2500 Suburban with 33s

I’m looking to purchase a ‘07 or newer 2500 suburban. I have a set of 20x9 XD hoss with a +18 offset and 33x12.50x20 tires. The tires actually measure out at 32.5x10.25. Can I avoid a 4” lift and just run a leveling kit with sone minor trimming? Or is that out of the question for the NNBS 2500...

    Parking Brake Adjustment

It seems like no matter have tight the shoes are set the pedal just goes to the floor with the same amount of effort. Willing to give just about anything a shot.

    Parking Brake Adjustment

Ive been dealing with basically non-existent parking brakes for awhile. Just spent the last couple of days putting all new brakes on - rotors, pads, e brake shoes and hardware. I adjusted the star wheel on both sides to where the shoes barely grabbed the rotor hat. Then backed each off one...

    Travel Trailer Suggestions

Thanks for all the replies guys. What are your thoughts on a bumper pull vs 5th wheel? We’ll prob end up with something in the 28-32 ft. range to get the features we want. Also we don’t necessarily want a cheap quality trailer. Just that our budget is limited. So a little older trailer from a...

    Travel Trailer Suggestions

Yeah I did watch it. Just wasn’t sure if that’s typical for the industry or when that video was made. Definitely seemed to emphasize speed over quality (but hopefully they were just showing off...).

    Travel Trailer Suggestions

Thanks for the replies fellas. Definitely buying used with the intent of updating the interior. I don’t foresee us using it every weekend, nor for major/long trips. Probably just stick to VA for now. I’m not opposed to something that might need a little more than cosmetic work. But would like...

    Travel Trailer Suggestions

We’re looking to buy our first travel trailer. Budget will be limited and will need room for 3 kids under 10yo. I’m looking for any suggestions on what to look for specifically when kicking tires, lessons learned, general tips when buying used, etc. Just trying to not make a relatively large...

    Turbo Rebuild Parts

Right. Not sure if this is an example of everyone pretty much has the same stuff quality wise or if there are multiple different parts manufacturers. I’ve seen that link above, g pop shop, kc turbo, and Danville. Prices range from $70 to $200+. Just not sure what the actual differences are.

    Turbo Rebuild Parts

Where is everyone getting their parts when rebuilding a turbo? I know Mark sells some parts, where else? There is a guy that is kinda close to me that sells his stuff on Amazon and eBay, but I’m a little skeptical...

    Buying Used V2

Awesome. Thanks for the link. I was looking through their site earlier but was having some functionality issues with it. Prob just my phone. Really appreciate the help and quick responses. Looks like the serial number and authorization code can be read via the scan and tune program. So...

    Buying Used V2

Oh I see. To sum up, assuming there’s at least one slot left and it will read my ecm, I’ll just have to grab a vin license off the website to start tuning correct? Also is the original registration card necessary (not sure if he has it). With the big tuners seemingly dropping like flies I...

Dark blue around the perimeter. That’s the newer one that will also do some Cummins trucks correct?

    Buying Used V2

The guy doesn’t know anything about it. Says the previous owner of his 08 used it. He’s since sold that truck and doesn’t want it. I know they have a limit of 221 or something like that. Anyway to check available spaces left? And by read can I just use the scan dtc function? Or actually read...

    Buying Used V2

I’ve got a line on a used Flashscan V2. It seems to be in the original box and has several cords. Other than registration card what else should I look for? Any way to test it prior to purchase? Thanks in advance.
