A LLY was drug in here for a crank no start condition. It makes over 4k rail pressure while cranking, has cam signal, no smoke out tailpipe at all, wont run on ether. He has 2 cans on the passenger seat so im going to ask him if its had a hard start issue for while .... Any ideas?

Where does the 03 - 07 trucks get the ground for the steering wheel? In order for the horn to work on an 06 I have in, I have to ground the steering wheel(the actual cast structure of the steering wheel), and then the contacts work fine and horn functions.

Has anyone had to fix a apparent oil prime issue? After sitting overnight, this 2021 will take around 15 seconds to build oil pressure. Which brings up the shut off engine warning on the DIC. It has new Rotella T4 15w40 and a PF63.

Tuesday I did akebono slotted front rotors, napa silent guard pads front & rear, and all 4 new(reman) calipers on a horse hauler 2018 l5p. Came in with the typical frozen tight pins, at least one in each caliper. The rear rotors are good shape napa premiums.

Got a lml in that makes a knocking noise. Balance rate on cyl 7 was 10. Had codes for that and cyl 6 injection timing. Compression test showed 150 psi on 7 and good on all the others. Could see piston top damage with borescope. Tore it down today to find this.

Does heat soak bring on the dreaded bad tcm issues? I have one here that will drive fine until you stop and let it idle. Trips a dozen dtcs. Voltsge, over temp, etc
