    The newer 3.0 Duramax used in the half ton pickups uses steel pistons also. It would be nice if they carried that technology over to the bigger engines as well.

    First tune would you mind checking it

    It's a compressed file. If you right click the tune, you should see "send to" in the pop up window. If you move your mouse to that selection, it should have a pop out menu that says "compressed (zipped) folder". Once you have the file zipped, you can post it as an attachment.

    My opinion would be to bite the bullet and just change the pump and all the relates seals for the pickup tube and oil pump. I might even go ahead and do a new pickup tube while I was there just for peace of mind.
