That's why there are oil catch cans available for these cars, if you choose to go that route.

It definitely is getting a catch can system.
I run the Vagaline High Mileage oil in my LS and it's still in 1 piece... really clean inside too!I've also heard of engines blowing up not long after using it
Ordered the zz performance oil can kit, got the easy part on..
Oil catch cans are fairly basic.. hold probably a pint, has straight thread O-ring fittings boxes that are bigger than -6 and smaller than -8.

Well that was eventful 350 miles... Get about 100 miles from home getting on the freeway, threw 0299(underboost) misfire #3, U0100-71 loss of comms with ECM, service stabilitrac and traction control. Got random flashing check engine light (probably related to misfire)
Under 3000rpm it misses, above runs smooth. Swapped plugs #1/#3, code stayed stuck on #3.

Yeah, part of me wants to blame how moist it was yesterday as oil on the dip stick is still normal color..
Need to get an ignition coil for it.. pretty sure that's what caused the miss

probably 200 miles was in rain or extremely humid to the point AC condensed water on the windshield while running 70-75. Which could be a logical explanation

As long as the oil on the dipstick does not look like that and the coolant levels are not changing, I would attribute it to something else.

Well ordered zz performance ignition coil and boost kit.. definitely starts revs misses substantially smoother.
Pulled plugs ran a compression test.. 1/2/4 are 190-200psi #3 is goose eggs

I lost an injector working on my LLY last night. At least my buddy took one from one of his trucks to fix the issue. I think I may have to replace them all.

Have you ruled out a valve issue? Hopefully it's something simple and does not need a full tear down to fix that dead hole.
No, outside the compression test, I haven't diagnosed anything deeper.
I'm ordering a bore scope, to look in the hole.. before I yank anything apart.
For now it still moves under its own power.
