The wind was right, so I went out to Dad's gravesite to grab a video of the UPS plane landing for my siblings.
That one of the reasons I picked this particular cemetery, the Veteran's area was under the glidepath of the Airport that Dad managed for many years.

That's pretty cool. We got Mather AFB that has UPS and FedEx planes coming and going all the time out here. Similar distance to the landing and take off. Plus the military ones they fly for hours and practice

My family was happy I recorded the plane landing.

This year's Indy 500 has been a pretty cool race. 67 lead changes so far, one off the record.
Sucks they red flagged it here with 8 laps to go after that wreck
Its going to be nuts watching these guys go all-out once the race restarts.

I noticed during the race that the cars had "hybrid" drivetrains. Had no idea what that was all about. Found later it's a capacitor of some sort that stores energy. Then when the driver hits a button it gives the car 40-50 more hp. I understand that's how Rosenqvist was able to pull around Malukas.

Ecoboost has phaser issues and iirc those years have the coolant fitting leak issues for the turbos. Water pump/thermostat have known issues. Plastic fittings on hoses are crap but probably an az thing. Aint terrible otherwise but god damn do they take forever to get down to the front of the engine. Shitload of stuff in the way

Solid motors if all the maintenance has been done correctly. If someone was lazy on maintenance you’ll have issues. Timing systems and turbo issues are common problems
