Oh boy, the days of constant sickness with young children. I sure am glad those days are in the past.

ordered parts and vendors put signature required on the package, gues I'm taking a day off to wait for UPS.
I don't ship enough to warrant getting their "premium plan" which doesn't state if I can sign on line or not which would be the only reason to get it

there used to be a way to do an electronic signature thru the website, but I can no longer find it. Probably another one of UPS management's latest anti-customer service initiatives.
Ive watched him for more than a day twice now. Both times got sick. There's a correlation/causation thing going on there. His mother used to bring the crud home every spring. Id be laid up for a week.
I've learned to ask for a 10-day health report prior to accepting grandkids. Kids said I was silly, until I came down with shingles. Didn't see anyone for 2 weeks..

Adult chicken pox, only worse. I guess its a huge thing for our age bracket.
It’s a pretty wide age bracket. I got it when I was 38. Sucks no matter what though.
Fall decorations are down
Inside the house is pretty decorated for Christmas already. Tree goes up after thanksgiving. Favorite time of the year for the wife by far.

Yow. I have read it was primarily us old boomer/gen x'ers that got it. That sucks that younger people can get it too.
When I ask at the Dr office, and they said avoid young kids and pregnant chics. Oh wait, I can give someone the pox while have shingles? Google quickly spoiled all my plans.. Finally had something I can give kids, but they can't give to me... lol

It was almost a right of passage as a child. When I got them, my parents made sure my younger brother got them too. Only have to deal with it once.Parents are boomers, we got the pox on purpose. No cure back then LOL, or at least they didn't care
And yes, shingles sucks. A couple days after helping my brother stand his Christmas tree, my back started hurting. It was killing me. Couldn’t think of anything I did to hurt it. Then the rashes started forming. Those were worse. Went to the dr to confirm what I thought.

My son gave my hand/foot and mouth when he was 1, that was horrible. The doctors couldn’t believe that I had it. Lost all the skin on my hands and feet. My finger prints were gone, my finger tips were smooth.
Oh yeah, hand/foot was going around TWICE at the grandson's daycare this past summer. Told the daughter not to bring him around if that was still going on. What gets me is all these parents who'll still take their kids to daycare when they are sick! They know dang well they should stay home, but no.....lets gets everyone sick.
Selfish behavior is the norm now, watching out for others is not a popular trend, too Christian, I guess for most…

Finding a woman that compliments honesty is the best policy and treat others the way they want to be treated. Sounds nice to most till they find out games are tolerated, and there's accountability
