I've been beating my head looking up everywhere on the web for the best tie downs from e track rail, adding more d-rings, or the bike rail that you use the d-rings to hold down, or bike cinch/chocks. I'm sure you guys have been through this and would like to see what you have done to see what works best for me. I personally don't like the bike rail as it's bulky and takes up some room in the garage for full width.

I picked up this XLR hyperlite 29hfs toy hauler 2 weeks ago and took it out for the first time boondocking in the farm fields in PA. The setup I have for tie downs is ridiculous, 4 in the corners and one that is not even centered. Trying to find room to be able to tie down was annoying with a spider web of straps all over the bike. My raptor does take up a lot of room which forced me to stand it up so I can get the rest of them in. One issue I do have is, there is a 30 gallon fuel station under the garage at the front.

I only do this once a year bringing all of the bikes for our labor day camping trip we do every year. This time I didn't have to hear the kids whining for their turn as they all had their toys to play this time.

I looked into adding additional rings but the plates need to tie into the joist. I really didn't feel like crawling around underneath so I just did the E-track.

I use the small ring straps that click in and out and mount the Tie downs off that.

Thanks for the link. Seeing it has an angled tire mount definitely helps in my situation for the bikes.

Did you mount the e track on the wall or the corner of the floor?

I have 2 stripes down the floor so I can drive over them with a vehicle. And some on the wall. I can't recall but I think it's 2 rows. I dont know if still have a picture after I did it, but I will look.

Found these from when I was in stalling the E trac. Mine are installed with self tappers, but it's important to make sure you hit solid structure. Other wise the floor is just ply wood and the walls are thin sheets of aluminum. Mine are drilled into the wall studs. I see guys recommending on the floor to through bolt every so often and use a wide washer to spread the load. I only use mine to secure cargo. Nothing heavy. I originaly planned to re sale this at some point so I didn't want it to permanent...

You need something to hold the front wheel steady too.
