Ironically, I replaced the tail lights on my 05 LLY with GM replacements around 2016 and GM had switched to DEPO. At the time i though someone swapped them and returned the box. they ordered a new set and I was the first person to open them confirming they had switched. A few years later, they started to Delaminate like the Original's Do. So instead of paying GM Price's, I purchased actual DEPO Brand Taillight's' and they are different than the version I received through the GM dealer. Knock on wood, no issues with this set and they were a fraction of the cost of GM Branded one's.
My 06 GMC has no name branded Silverado tail light assemblies. There is a definite difference in fitment between them and the DEPO brand on my LLY. I would buy the DEPO branded ones over these no name house brand lights. The only reason was, I needed harnesses for them to work on the GMC and they were less than $100 Complete with harnesses. I think each harness was around $40 at the time from GM plus the cost of the DEPO light's and bulbs would have been close to $200.
My work Van has TYC branded replacements tail lamps in the back. The only issue is, I had to slot the holes on the light so that it would sit properly in the opening. Otherwise they would pull inward and hit the tailgate.
