Engine swap holy moly , 06 LBZ into 05 LLY, no start

LBZ ECM will have trouble talking to the BCM and TCM as they are J1939 while the LBZ GMLAM

So, either keep the LLY ECM and FICM or swap out all of the computers and harness/repin

It Can talk with the BCM if you re wire for it. The trans module is a different story.

Also the reluctor wheel on the crank has 1 extra tooth on the LBZ vs the LLY.

LLY vs LBZ Reluctor Wheel.

Somebody called and asked about this: 3 holes on LLY, 4 holes on LBZ. 57 teeth LLY, 58 teeth LBZ. Same apparent "timing" based on TDC indicator and timing holes. Both based on a 60 tooth wheel, with 3 or 2 teeth removed.
