Is there a way to use a T-case motor from a 03 in a 02? I have the wire connecter from the 03. Can I cut the connecter from the 02 and use the 03?

Yes it has two connecters and the 03 has one.
I was under the impression that the actual encoder portion that sends the position signal is different and incompatible.
looking at wiring diagrams 1 uses a 5v reference signal and the other uses a 8v signal. Has several other differences also.
