I found some 20" pro comp wheels at my local wrecking yard that came off a Ford Excursion. I had always been under the assumption that Ford and Chevy do not cross. But cast into the back of the wheels is both bolt patterns. Any suggestions on what that means.

Ford uses 8 on 170mm and GM uses 8 on 165.1mm (or 8 on 6.5) so unless both patterns are in the actual center, you can't use 99 - up Ford wheels on a GM truck.

just take a tape measure with you and measure across the bolt circle and see what it measures.

New Ford/Excursion will not fit. 8 x 170mm. Older Fords will match up to 8 x 6.5.

We tried it out of curiousity a few years ago.

Yeah I decided not to get them anyways. They wanted like $1000 for em with the tires. And the tires didn't have the load range I wanted anyways. But thanks all for the input.
