Minimum the bottom overload. You could drop the fourth leaf as well but axle wrap will become pretty apparent

I did 2" drop shackle, overload removed, and one full leaf removed on my old lb7. It sat perfectly level with the stock front end with t bar bolts removed. Roughly 4" total drop with that setup. Rode amazing with Nick's 5100s but needed traction bars or the rear would bind bad.

I would just do the very bottom one, the overload....anything more than that and you wont be able to haul you dog, or grocries, ha ha, maybe it wont be that bad, you get the picture...

iirc, jdm or someone offers a lowering leaf that has a better or more supple ride, but it will always be "just a leaf spring"

removing the overload is good for appx and inch drop

You will be very happy with the ride with overload and one full leaf removed...and you'll need those cal tracs.

My overloads are removed and all but 2 leafs and my truck rides like a cadillac and would still be able to pull a small 12 foot trailer with 2 jet skis or something like a quad or dirt bike

I removed the very bottom load bar when I installed my Cal-Tracs, truck did ride a little better doing so. I've since installed some rear airbags for towing stability and ride height adjustment. Works really well for me.
