What is this a sign of?

I'm in the process of replacing the Head Gaskets and as I am freeing up a little space I found this: (see Attached Picture.) What are some ideas as to the cause of the mess on top of the Number one Injector? Thanks for the help.

The EGR stepper motor leaking oil. Its a problem caused by blocking the EGR. No Worries.
