Mark is there a better drop in wheel for the 3794 without killing the low end or going to a 68mm?

I have a batmowheel for them that I changed the design of and made the hub smaller and the inducer taller. It is the wheel that comes in my BMW GT3794Va Stg2 turbo and is good for up to 740hp and has great manners.

Thanks, is there any difference on the turbine side over a stock turbo on size?
I thought it had the 10 blade turbine already just didn't know if it was any bigger?

So the difference in price between a stg2 r 3794 68mm wheel vs the stg2r 68 that comes with vanes and standard 68 is very minimal. So in a case if someone had Interest in the choice of them two turbos, has a goal of 600hp-700hp, horsepower goal before I crack a piston and in the future for after lol. I don't want to have to upgrade, but I still want to be able to tow, but want a top end pull as well. (Don't want twins) love a strong turbo brake

What would be the best choice. Lol I know this seems ridiculous because it's probably coming off like I want it all, I'm trying to understand better on my future purchases:thumb:.

Like others said, seriously enjoying this help and info

In that power goal range and what your doing with it the 68mmStg2Reman http://www.danvilleperformance.com/dp-billet-68mm-stg2-reman/ or the 3794 68mm upgrade http://www.danvilleperformance.com/danville-performance-bmw-gt3794va-stage-2-new-turbo/ if you wanted it to be a brand new cart.

Ahhh Facebook... Such garbage I tell you. Majority of the diesel "gods" on Facebook need it to keep their buisness going, because I have found out that there work doesn't speak loud enough.... But being a Facebook warrior will back them up.

Not to high jack but Mark, what would a 72mm tct wheel flow vs a 72mm batmowheel flow in a vgt? Say modded stock vgt charger, 3794 vgt, 4094 vgt, for comparison? Just looking for flow rate and spool times information mainly. Thanks

Well, since Bullseye Manufactures my Billet 72mm vgt wheels they can't and won't produce a BMW or TCT version of it and same goes for the 68mm Billet wheel I have. The 72mm is for the guys looking for 1000++hp in compounds or triple setups. I do NOT recommend them for stock motor guys or to run as a single because it is designed to be force fed. All the fastest VGT powered trucks ran my 72mm VGT in their twin and triple setups. Hope this helps.

You cant really go wrong with a 3794 or marks 68stg2r. My shop has the fastest 3794 turbo record with only a 65mm bmw. It drives 100% like stock, spools faster than stock, and will shred tires at 50mph with no issues. the 68stg2r is fun also, but more important to have a proper converter that wont blow through with how fast the power comes in.

If your more or less looking for a nice drop in upgrade, id go 3794

Hey Mark, where does your new 68/71 vgt fall in comparison to the 3794 and the 68stg2r?

It's a touch bigger than the 68stg2R so the spool up depending on fuel will be a touch slower but it is capable of around 40hp more on top end than the stg2R making it a an 820hp capable turbo with the correct fueling and parts combination.

Is it still a 68mm but with a bigger turbine?

Yes it is, the turbine is 71 which is larger then the 4094 stg2 r but it's also equipped with the lbz vane configuration. Made to be more of the big single of vgts, because like what mark said. The 72 was designed more for twin applications or triples.

Interesting. What size is the turbine on a stock lly charger?

That 68/71 sounds like it would be fun one to try. I liked my tct 63.5 but it had no where near the top end this 369sxe has. Although I’m sure had I switched to your tuning on the vgt I would have liked it more.
