Heres a quick run down on the car and the parts...

42k mile cali car barn find, this car is SEXY
2006 LBZ 32k mile motor bone stock
4l80e trans with a few good parts
2 gran national turbos
417 radiator
417 intercoolers
417 radiator support
417 sheetmetal intake plenum
417 Sheetmetal valve covers
holley Blue lift pump
417 25 gal fuel cell
PPE programmer to delete all nonsense in the ECU
417 dual exh exiting tucked before the rear tire

We are down to the wiring of the ecu to the car and some plumbing, ill get some more pics as of today in the morning... all the hot parts are done along with the radiator/fan shroud.

Nothing against your build but i remember big blocks in those Novas that plagued traction back in the old days. Duramax will far surpass the big block issue. Good luck.:D

LOL gotcha... we are not in any way trying to go fast with this one.... just build a fun cruiser with a different drivetrain ;)

Or i guess you could say it the way it was worded when featured in car craft... "We are not trying to set the world on fire... Just cover it in black smoke" LOL:D

Wow. Too cool! :thumb: Keep us updated! What are you using for a rear axle?


I think what Mike means is even a stock Dmax has the capability to roast the rear tires bald very quickly in that car. Be careful on wet pavement. :rofl:
