Your welcome!... (16hrs it what it took us:D)

4088 or 4094 gets my vote
i tow 20,000+ with my dragrace and sled pull tune everyday and never get the EGT's out of line. (i have the 4094 1.06 housing)

How much boost are you seeing with your 4094? Do you need studs with it?

i can see 47 lbs with the 4094 but i think i have a freak guage because i was able to boost launch my stock turbo at 30 lbs and see 35 easily and 40 being the max:eek::D

i also do not have head studs in the motor now but i have them laying around just incase the heads blow. as of now i do not feel the need for studs with this turbo if i was around the 50+ range i would be seriously considering them

Hahaha.....yea thanks Jared :)

Blowing that boot off scared the living &#*^ out of me!!! I can't seem to get over 40 lbs. EFI Live says 37 lbs. is "optimum" anyway for an lb7....?

there is no optimum for the motor really just the turbo. for example with the IHI i saw more power in the 25-28 lbs range than the 30-32 lbs range thats why i took off the boost valve. it comes down to airflow not boost now in reality you would think that with more boost you would get more air but that is obviously not the case. what really needs to happen is to tune your motor based on the turbo flow map.

(dam i feel smart now:rofl:)

HTT, 4088, 4094 or 64mm cheetah It all boils down to how much you want to spend. They are all very nice DD's single pump turbos or if you don't plan on going over 500hp stick with the stocker :joker:

16 hours? :joker: I did my HTT in 12.5 hours and that included putting the water/meth back on. I had to stack two pallets in front of the truck to make it a little easier. Damn thoes LB7's with there funky down pipe.

Breaking loose the up pipe bolts using a ghetto rig of extensions with a home made breaker bar lol and getting the pedestal to line up takes awhile ;)

I used the box end of a wrench on a 3/8" ratchet to get the 6 up pipe bults out. I also made my own tranny dipstick tube. The only help I had was my wife bringing me beers and a buddy of mine holding down a 5 gallon pail in the shop. He did manage to get up once to look at the empty hole where the factory turbo sat. At least I had my wife there.

a flexable 3/8 long handled wratchet is your best friend but those up pipe bolts were so tight they were caked in mud and crosion from the ocean:mad:
