Turbo question

I need some help identifying a turbo as it's not what I thought it was.

The facts:
1. I purchased a used s475 MPI twin kit (not sure of age)
2. I know it is not a T6 96 1.32
3. I'm sure it is a T4 frame
4. 75mm compressor wheel
5. Spools incredibly quick for as low it is tuned

A full marmon exh flange on a t6 housing can be machined down to the style you have. Would make for easier downpipe configuration. (4") The flange is what you need to measure.

I measured the flange when I had it out yesterday and it is a t4 flange (on the hot pipe).

Ok, mark and other companies like e.d. make t4 housings like that. Should say what a/r it is somewhere on housing or just inside one of the inlets.

The cover was ground smooth and coated so there are no casting marks other than what is in the picture above.

Oh, bummer. Unless it's stamped on the inside of one the divided inlets you're out of luck then

It's not, I looked! The only markings I could find were in the second pic

It has to be stamped inside on the housing. Clean it and look again.

I cleaned it and looked, even tried to feel it and there was nothing there. Had a buddy sanity check me and he said the same thing.

Garrett stamps the inside scroll right by the flange what A/R it is. I would think it would be there.

I'm not saying that it's not there, but if it is there, I could not feel or see it and I cleaned it and felt for it, I even looked with a flashlight with no luck.

That turbine looks like an 87mm though. It has the curved blades. The 83mm turbine has straight blades. That turbo is setup to be ran as a single.

83mm left, 87mm right. I'm assuming that's a borg charger?

Thank you mike, all I know about it is it came with the MPI kit I bought off of a member here. He was told it was an s475 and that is what he told me. I ASSuMEd it was the standard s475 t6 1.32ar 96mm turbine. Boy was I wrong!

Anyone need a BNIB s475 t6 1.32ar 96mm turbine and a blanket from Levi?
