We demand proof!

Pics of the product before and after, dyno runs before and after, time slips before and after, datalogs before and after, fuel mileage reports before and after, and video of your first born being anointed in diesel during the install, and all must have been completed on the same business day during a lunar eclipse.

Ahh heck we can just take your word for it. You seem like a stand up guy.

Would like to see some pics and hear your opinion once you get to test them out.

I should just send my turbo to Russ, seems how I'm too dam lazy to even think about doing that.

Great work Russ, again. :thumb::thumb:

Is the inside diameter of the up pipes bigger then the Inlet of pedestal along with the flange sides also? I never looked at mines when assembling.

Yes it is he said the ATS ped was pretty nice but still opened it up and fine sanded it the BD PED was very crude and needed a lot or grinding and smoothing. He has a few pics as he was doing it to show the difference im hoping he will post them to show how bad they are.when I change the ped on mine I will do a close up of my stock BD ped vs the ported 1.There is a great difference in them.

X2 on Russ work. He did the rebuild, port/polish and batmowheel install on my stock turbo. Woke my rig up more than I expected. Got nothing but good things to say about him :D

I p/p'd my 4094vvt. The casting had about 1/16" all the way around the up pipe inlets that needed to be removed to match the gaskets. It's definitely worth doing!

Unfortunately since Russ is not a vendor, pricing can not be posted. We are kinda pushing the limits as it is with the thead but he's a stand up guy and gave lots of info for guys to do this themselves if you do a little search

Thanks for the kind words, Scott, James, Damian, etc. :thumb:

I'm on my IPad right now so I don't have pictures of the before and after of the BD pedestal but if I get time tomorrow I can post them up. Plus I've spent the last 1 1/2 out of 3 getting a little monster to fall asleep. :D

Damian,
Your pedestal that I sent you looked just like the one Scott posted, if you would install your own stuff you would have noticed it!! Haha, just kidding.:D

Scott is correct. The ATS pedestals are much nicer than the BD pedestal. Discharge from the pedestal to turbo on the ATS I just have to clean up some; now on the BD its off a lot, I remove ALOT of material.
Where the up pipes bolt on the ATS pedestal there is some cleaning but mostly the ports are off a little so I just clean up 3/4 of the opening.

Garret chargers are good from the factory but there is some cleaning to be done. The IHI chargers are very restrictive and much improvements can be had there.

I did a port/polish & installed a batmowheel last Saturday for one of the local guys on the forum here and it turned out really good, thanks again Justin.:thumb:. I did something different to the exhaust side that gave it a nice sound :woott:.
I need to meet up with him and take some video of it. He said it really rips and sounds awesome, like his one friends out LB7 with an aurora 5000.:woott:

I've got an LLY turbo in the garage for a guy I need to do. Is getting a port/polish, batmowheel, rebuild, and fingers vanes; I'm really excited to see how it turns out. I also have 2 IHI turbos so cores.

So it looks like I need to take the next step with the moderators in becoming a vendor, they were nice enough to explain what happens to get there.

Also just so everybody knows I have not been dancing around behind the scenes in avoiding to become a vendor. I've just been very busy moving back from Canada, buying a house, and having a baby. I've also only done a few just to see if this is something that's useful or a waste of time to others.

Just wanted to be clear.

Sorry for cluttering up your thread and getting off topic Scott, I can delete this if you want.
