LB7: Turbo oil drain

The turbo oil drain started leaking at the turbo. Any tricks on how to change it? Or do I need to remove the turbo? Any help is appreciated.

I'd prefer to change it, that's a pain in the ass..

Yes, but do I need to pull the turbo to replace it?

what kind of drain is it? SS braided? ive seen some that are stock ones cut with an extension. my braided one I had to put the fitting on the line then bolt it to the turbo while it was in. you might be able to just loosen it to rock it forward

It's done. I pulled the turbo. What a PITA!!!
